How do I cope with my husband leaving for Iraq?

My husband leaves in March for Iraq for over a year. I have no idea how to cope with it. Im freaking out now and its only January. I just dont know what to do, and i dont know how im going to spend our first anniversary alone! Please i need someone who is going through the same thing or has gone through the same thing.

What to you think will happen in Iraq after the US leaves? Democracy or Muslim extremism?

In Iraq the US is making great sacrifices in soldiers’ lives and spending billions of $ in order to bring it democracy.

Do you think democracy will survive there after the US leaves, or will it soon degrade to Muslim fundamentalism ?
