How long would it take to travel from Florida to Iraq?

I’m writing a short story about a soldier going to Iraq and I’m having trouble figuring out some small “time-related” specifics regarding travel.

If a person were to leave the east coast at 6:00AM, what time and day would it be once they arrived in Iraq?

    Probably no more than 8 – 10 hours, its not that far.
