How do you correspond with someone in Iraq?

tropicalbreeze asked:

Kids need a journal for school from someone in the military in Iraq. This would be good for the hole family to get involved to e-mail someone there. Does anyone have info to go about this. Please let me know.

If I were you, I’d go to google and type into their
search engine something like: Iraqi kids+pen pals.
    See what it turns up.

    Good luck.

    Lots of websites out there.

You can also talk to one of the local recruiters, they would probably be more than happy to help you out with it. Good chance they might even know more than a few that are over there currently.

find out what units are currently operating in iraq(internet or press section of the mod, having done that then write to THE FAMILIES OFFICER of that unit who can help with your project,he is your best bet to get the ball rolling, good luck

get ahold of the red cross or local recruiter they should be able to help

  5. Carolyn H says:

Contact any Family Readiness Group for a deployed unit (every unit has one back in the rear, they are usually run by the spouses of the deployed troops) , or look online for “Support the Troops” links.

  6. Brian W says:

soldiersangels.org and penpalforsoldiers.org are both great groups that pair kids up with a deployed Soldier to correspond with.
