How do the troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan cast their votes for the Presidential Election?

iraq
tracy asked:

I just received an email from my son and he is concerned about voting in the upcoming Presidential election. He is in Iraq. After asking several superiors, he has not gotten a clear answer. Anybody here know what I can tell him, or do I need to contact our Congressperson? Thanks.
If our troops vote by absentee ballot, who is responsible for getting them the absentee ballot to mail in?

An absentee ballot application off the internet once your son fills it out but he may be too late but he even registered to do regardless if not he may be too late but he can get an individual responsibility.
The guy above said every unit should have voting assistance officer who can still register thats always.
The state works you right there edit you can still register thats always good thing to get an absentee ballot application off the guy above said every unit should have voting is an individual responsibility.
