Why do our leaders think that the Afghanistan war will go similar to Iraq’s war, they are extremely different?

research what happened to Russia when they went to war with Afghanistan. I think our leaders are giving that some consideration.
my question is why are we even there when there is a lot of evidence that 9-11 was an inside job. the day of 9-11 we had less than 20 aircraft protecting our entire nation due to 2 phony exercises and I am praying that Obama will open up a review of the entire situation. Those buildings had help coming down. bomb sniffing dogs were strangely removed from the twin towers before the attack. The Mayor of San Francisco was even given a warning not to fly on the very day of the attack.
If one knows how much IQ, wisdom and knowledge our leaders have, one will not be surprised to the question you raised.
