What will happen to us if the Iraq war was to some how failed?

If we some how lost the war in Iraq,will we be any safer,or will we have new problems to face when these crazy muslims tries to destroy our land?What do you think the future of Iraq,America,and the rest world have if we was to win,or to lose the war?I don`t want to lose the war but i really don`t like the idea that we`re gonna be staying there till next year.Will we be any safer?What will history think of us in 10 years,or 100 years when it came to the war in Iraq?
