What kind of cell phone would work in Iraq due to deployment?

I hear that quadband phones should work. I have a quadband phone from AT&T. I am aware that prices will be higher, though. If I get an international roaming plan with that phone should that work out? Or could I atleast use a sim-card from Iraq? Please respond with helpful information.

What If Iraq Insurgency Grows After United States Leaves?

We are gonna pull out of Iraq at the end of this year. What if Iraq falls back into chaos when we completely pull out? The Shiite majority takes over Iraq and starts killing the Sunni minority. Sunnis and Shiites start killing each other again. More bombings, kidnappings, beheadings, and more IEDs. There will not be any US troops inside of Iraq. If the country starts to fall apart are we gonna go back in and fight again?
